This article examines the various models used to measure creativity amongst learners and teachers in higher education; it also discusses fundamental insights to guide educators in measuring creativity. To attain this objective, the article reviews the 2012 research publication ‘Progression in Creativity: Developing New Forms of Assessment’ that is based on two British qualitative field studies by Spencer, Lucas and Claxton .
